Dashboard: Archive dashboard
🗄️ Archive Function Overview
Section titled “🗄️ Archive Function Overview”The Archive Dashboard option is available in the right-side control menu. It allows you to deactivate a dashboard, but with strict limitations to prevent misuse.
Key Behavior
Section titled “Key Behavior”- When you choose to archive, a confirmation dialog appears with the warning: “YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESTORE / ACTIVATE THIS DASHBOARD FOR 45 DAYS! Are you still sure you want to archive it?”
- You must confirm by clicking Yes, or cancel the action.
Purpose of Restriction
Section titled “Purpose of Restriction”- Archiving is locked for 45 days before restoration is possible.
- This restriction exists to prevent abuse where users might:
- Create a dashboard.
- Archive it immediately.
- Create another one in its place.
- Since payment is per dashboard, this safeguard ensures fair usage and prevents swapping between dashboards while paying for only one.
Practical Use
Section titled “Practical Use”- Archive dashboards only when they are truly no longer needed.
- Consider copying dashboards before archiving if you want to preserve their structure.
- Remember: once archived, the dashboard is inaccessible until the 45-day period expires.
