🔒 Security Panel Overview

The Security menu controls access to your dashboard. Since dashboards are public (but not indexed), these settings provide safeguards if a link is compromised or if you want to restrict access.

Key Options

• Dashboard Permalink

  • Displays the current unique URL identifier for the dashboard.
  • Clicking the reload button generates a new random permalink and reloads the dashboard with its new URL.
  • This acts as a safety feature if the existing link has been shared unintentionally or compromised.

• Dashboard Password

  • You can set a password to protect the dashboard.
  • When enabled, anyone opening the dashboard without being logged in (or outside your account) must enter the password to view it.
  • Options include showing, hiding, or removing the password.
