Mission Control
Section titled “Mission Control”🎯 Overview
Section titled “🎯 Overview”The Mission Control feature enables monitoring of important metrics across multiple domains in a centralized way. It provides alerts when one or more metrics change by a defined percentage, helping users quickly identify significant shifts in performance.
📑 Groups
Section titled “📑 Groups”- A Group consists of one or more domains.
- All domains in a group are checked against the same metrics and the same percentage thresholds.
- A user can create multiple groups, and the same domain can belong to more than one group.
- Groups are managed from the Groups page, which lists existing groups and provides options to create new ones or delete existing ones.
⚙️ Alerts & Checks
Section titled “⚙️ Alerts & Checks”- Domains in each group are checked for metric changes daily.
- For each domain in a group, Mission Control pulls data for the past 7 days and past 30 days.
- These values are compared against the same earlier period (previous 7 days or previous 30 days).
- If a metric changes by more than the defined percentage threshold, an alert is triggered.
- Alerts can be delivered via email and/or Slack, depending on user configuration.
📑 Workflow
Section titled “📑 Workflow”- Navigate to the Mission Control page.
- Create a new Group or manage existing ones.
- Add one or more domains to the group.
- Define the metrics to monitor and the percentage change thresholds.
- Save the group — domains will now be checked every 7 and 30 days.
- Receive alerts when thresholds are exceeded.
⚠️ Key Notes
Section titled “⚠️ Key Notes”- Groups provide flexibility: multiple groups can exist, and domains can overlap across groups.
- All domains in a group share the same monitoring rules (metrics + thresholds).
- Checks are performed daily.
- Alerts are sent when thresholds are exceeded, ensuring timely notifications for performance changes.
