Mission control: create group
🎯 Overview
Section titled “🎯 Overview”The Create Group page allows users to define a new monitoring group in Mission Control. A group consists of one or more domains, all checked against the same metrics and thresholds. Alerts are triggered when metrics change by more than the defined percentage over 7-day or 30-day intervals.
📑 Required Information
Section titled “📑 Required Information”- Group Name — mandatory field to identify the group.
- Notification Options — choose how alerts are delivered:
- Notify via Slack
- Notify via Email
📑 Metrics to Track
Section titled “📑 Metrics to Track”At least one metric must be selected. Thresholds represent the percentage of change for which alerts will be triggered. Users should only select metrics for which they have a valid source account connected.

⚙️ Workflow
Section titled “⚙️ Workflow”- Enter a Group Name.
- Select notification channels (Slack and/or Email).
- Choose one or more metrics to track.
- Define or adjust percentage thresholds for alerts.
- Click Create — the group is saved and begins monitoring domains every 7 and 30 days.
⚠️ Key Notes
Section titled “⚠️ Key Notes”- A group must have at least one metric selected.
- Thresholds apply equally to all domains in the group.
- Domains can belong to multiple groups, allowing different monitoring rules per group.
- Alerts are triggered when thresholds are exceeded on either the weekly (7-day) or monthly (30-day) periods.
